10. Motion controller board

Overview

Install PP_MotionController_V2.0 board on the back of the body frame. Connect the FFC cable, USB cable and other components to the motion controller board.

Assembly

1. Board Installation

Install the PP_MotionController_V2.0 board to the back of the body frame.

Use screws, spacers, washers and t-nuts to fix the board to the back side of body frame.

2. Connections

Connect components to the motion controller board as follows:

  • Connect FFC cable to FFC connector.
  • Connect USB2.0 A-TypeC to USB-IN port.
  • Connect the bottom camera USB to the UPORT1/ UPORT2 port.
  • Connect the bottom camera light to the BCLIGHT connector using XH2.54-2P wire.
  • Connect two vacuum pumps to the AVPMT and BVPMT connectors respectively.
  • Connect Y-axis stepper motor to YSTEPPER connector.
  • (Conditional) Extend the length of the Bottom camera USB cable with USB2.0 Extension Cable 1.5m to connect to an independent USB port on the computer.
