2. Assembly Of X Motor And Y Rails

Overview

The Y motor and Y rails consists of Y motor assembly, Y drive shaft, linear rails, etc...

Assembly

1. Y Linear Rails And End Stops

Use SHCS M3X8 screws and 20-M3 T-nuts to fix the linear rail to the top of frame.

Use 3d printed positioning tools to assist with installation:

There is a new version of endstops available in the package. Below are the pictures of the previous version.

2. Y Motor

Attach the KFL08 bearing to the side of the spacer bracket.

3. Driveshaft Bearing

The Sliding T-Nuts are not required anymore for the KFL08 bearing. Retain only the screws for this step.

Attach the KFL08 bearing to the side of the spacer bracket.

4. Driveshaft And Timing Pulley

Note

The following pictures require update as additional spacer brackets were introduced.

5. Y Idler Pulley

Install the prepared front idler pulley in the profile screw hole.
