1. Assembling The Frame

Overview

The machine frame consists of 16 aluminum profiles with pre-machined holes and fixed by M5 BHSHCS screws.

Assembly

1. Left and Right Frame

The left and right parts are mirror of each other, pay attention to the direction of the countersunk holes of aluminum profiles.

Front and back vertical profiles

The latest improvements added a hole on the front profiles for mounting the Y belt pulleys so the front and back vertical profiles may look very similar. Please consider the profiles to be placed in the back of the machine have a larger top hole needed for the Y motor rod.

5. Profile Pads

Use pads to protect profile ends (EVA Pad 2020-4 *12)

6. (Optional) Foot Pads

Applying rubber pads to the bottom of the 3D printed feet will keep the machine stable on any smooth table.
